Call for Papers – TMP2025

The Topical Meeting on Photonics (TMP2025) will take place on August 5, 2025, at Akademia Siber Teknopolis (AST), UKM. This conference aims to foster collaborations, highlight local expertise, and advance Malaysia’s photonics industry. Researchers, academics, and professionals are invited to submit original research papers on photonics and its applications.

Accepted papers will be presented as a poster presentation during the conference and published in Jurnal Optoelektronik, an open-access journal supported by the IEEE Photonics Society, Malaysia Chapter. TMP2025 welcomes submissions in the following categories:
- Research Articles – Full-length original research contributions with significant findings.
- Review Papers – Critical and comprehensive analysis of recent advancements in photonics.
- Short Communications – Brief reports on innovative research findings or methodologies.
- Perspective Papers – Expert viewpoints or discussions on emerging trends and future directions in photonics.

The event will also feature topical invited speakers, who will present on cutting-edge photonics technology and emerging trends. To recognize outstanding contributions, TMP2025 will present the Best Paper Award and Best Student Paper Award to selected works.
